Life finally slowed down this week. I feel like since we got home from Disney, I have been running around like crazy trying to keep up with things but now that Halloween is over, our schedule has slowed down. I am hoping to enjoy the calm of November before the December rush gets here!
Sunday afternoon Bryan & I enjoyed a date night at the Cowboys game:
We haven't had too many date nights this fall because it has been busy, nor do we ever go to professional football games, so this was a fun surprise.
On Monday, the girls started swimming lessons for the winter. We pulled them out for the summer since they were getting practice at home, but now that's it's too cold to swim at home, we want them to keep practicing inside where it's warm. Sadie moved to the Advanced Beginners class with 4 & 5 year olds & she is doing awesome. I put Sophie is the Super Waterbabies class which is for 2 & 3 year olds, so she is definitely the youngest in the class. But I did the regular waterbabies class with her for 1 year, so I am ready for her to swim on her own with out me. Obviously there are no pictures from swimming because I wore my swim suit & had to help out with Sophie :( I'm hoping she will eventually figure it out without me!
Tuesday & Thursday the girls had school. Thursday was spirit day:
After school, Sadie invited Kenzie over for a play date. This was our 2nd time having someone over with out their mom - I think Sadie officially feels like a big girl now!
They played really good together for a while & then Sadie wanted to watch a movie. I turned it on downstairs so they could play & watch:
We also had MOPS this week & we met friends to play at Jump Street this morning, but I seem to be lacking in the picture department this week. Except for this one:
I came home one day this week while the girls were at school & saw this bobcat walking down our street. He was afraid of my car so he ran into a neighbor's yard & then he just sat there & stared at me. People see them all over our neighborhood all the time & I see them occasionally early in the morning when I am out running, but for the most part, they won't bother you if you don't bother them. Too bad the girls weren't with me because they would have loved to see it!
