Up the Alley......

I heard Sadie saying something one day & I didn't recognize what she was talking about until I figured out it was her team cheer:

Up the alley & down the street, who's the toughest team to beat? Sweet Cleats!

Isn't that the cutest? Her coach made it up & they always say it at the end of practice & their games.

Speaking of practice, Friday night her coach couldn't make it, so Bryan & Chad stepped up to help out. Sadie had a hard time the first 5 minutes recognizing the difference between her dad being there & being the coach, but after she got over it, they did great:

I think she was proud of him & I have a feeling he might be volunteering to help coach more often now that we know what we are doing as soccer parents :)

The next morning the girls had pictures before their game:

I'm sure their official picture is better, but I tried to snap one while the photographer was. They had another good game this weekend & they easily won (although they still don't keep score :) but it was the first time our coach got into a disagreement with the other team's coach & some parents. It was not a fun situation & so unfortunate to already be witnessing this type of un-sportsmanship at such an early age. Luckily, the girls are young enough that they didn't know what was going on. Hopefully next weekend will go better.
