Epcot, Day 5

We spent our final day at Epcot:

We took the little kids straight to the aquarium to visit Crush the Turtle & the Nemo ride:

We also spent some time letting them play in the aquarium & getting to see all of the animals under the sea. We went on to do a few more rides & shows, but honestly, I thought Epcot was kind of boring & outdated. Maybe because we could only do the things geared for younger children, but I hope I enjoy the older part more next time. I did enjoy looking at the Epcot ball:

Since we were getting bored & hungry, we decided to walk through the countries. We were in for a bit of a treat because it was the Food & Wine Festival so they had extra stations set up with yummy looking food & drinks everywhere:

Now this part of Epcot I loved! Bryan & I could have spent the entire day just walking through the countries. Somehow all 3 families got separated, so the 4 of us took our time. There were a few spots for the kids to stop & play, we bought a lot of food & saw a few characters. In Africa, Sadie found the drums:

We visited the Eiffel Tower in France:

Our first stop to eat was in America. Go figure! First we saw a funnel cake sundae that looked too good to pass up:

Bryan got a lobster roll while I got a pimiento cheese kobe beef slider. In Mexico, Bryan tried their Sangria along with an appetizer:

I know we got pizza in Italy & I can't remember what else. I do remember that I eventually had to stop passing on the food because I was so full!

We had a special treat in Morocco:

We saw Jasmin & Aladdin:

You can tell it's our last day & Sophie is really into the characters! For some reason, Sadie really thought Daddy needed to be in this picture :)

I guess our trip through the countries was too much for Sophie, because she eventually passed out:

This was the 2nd time she fell asleep in public on this trip, which still amazes me! I guess after 5 straight days & hardly any naps, it finally caught up with her. Thank goodness she rested as we left Epcot & headed back to Magic Kingdom:

We had a few hours to spare before our final dinner, so Sadie wanted to go to Magic Kingdom one more time. Bryan & I took turns riding on her favorite rides again. The first one she chose, which also ended up being her favorite, was the roller coaster. They sat in the front car again just like we did earlier in the week:

We also rode the race cars, Winnie the Pooh, Mad Tea Party & Dumbo. Basically all of the rides on the same side of the park that didn't have long lines:

But we ended our trip the same way it started. Day 1 the girls rode the carousel with me for their first ride so it was only fitting that their last ride at Disney be the carousel with Daddy:

When we left the park, we took the monorail to the Polynesian Resort to meet everyone for dinner at O'Hana. We had a great family style luau meal with fun entertainment for the kids:

And when we got back to our resort, they were having a night time tribal dance. Most of the kids had their pajamas on & were getting ready for bed, but as soon as we walked in, Sadie had to join them:

That girl is a free spirit - I think she sang & danced her way through Disney all week!
