Bibbidi Boddidi Boutique, Day 3

Besides the Halloween party, my other favorite moment of the trip was when the girls got to go to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Cinderella's Castle. Here is our before shot walking up to the castle:

And we took another before shot when we got inside. The girls got special notes from the fairy godmothers:

Then they got to go to a dressing room to change into their princess outfits:

This is Sadie's Cinderella dress that she got for her birthday last year. Finally, the fairy godmothers took them to their own vanities to get ready. They got their hair done, makeup done & fingernails painted. We'll start with Kaitlyn's transformation first:

These pictures make me laugh because the girls are definitely on opposite extremes - Kaitlyn had so much hair they had a hard time getting it all up & Sadie has such little hair, they had an even harder time getting it all up there! Somehow they did & here is her transformation:

When they finished their makeover, they said a little chant & sprinkled her with pixie dust:

She looked beautiful! And I think she was so proud of her new look :) I'm not going to lie - it was a bit of a mess when we gave her a bath that night! There was so much gel in her hair, we couldn't even brush it out. There was a lot of bobby pins & a lot of glitter! But she has never done anything like this before & she loved it:

They clean up pretty well, don't they?! Even Braxton got to participate at the spa when they gave him a shield & sword. And don't forget about the glamour squad:

We were there cheering them on! Hopefully Sophie & Whitney can get a makeover next time.

When they finished, the fairy godmothers let them participate in a photo shoot. I'm gonna go ahead & say that there might have been some cheesy poses going on & looking back the pictures make me laugh! I did not download all of them because they were too much for me, but here were a few of my favorites:

Ok, so that first of one Sadie still makes me laugh, but I like that you can see her dress. Obviously the girls were posed! And don't forget about Sir Braxton:

We even tried to get one with the babies, but it's hard to get them to smile on cue:

When we left, the girls were given pink sashes & matching backpacks. They gave the left over make up, comb & nail polish to the girls to take home. Sadie was elated because I think that is her first official set of make up :) As soon as we walked outside, she asked me to take more pictures. I think she is more comfortable taking them in front of me than random photographers:

Thank you Grammy for treating the girls to a special day - I do believe it was one of the highlights of Sadie's trip! I just can't wait for these two to get to do this together next time:
