Football Fanatics

After soccer practice Friday night, we surprised Sadie & took her to one of our local high school football games & she was so excited! She would go every week if we let her, but they don't start until 7:00 & technically their bedtime is 8:00. Her game wasn't until noon on Saturday so we let her stay out a little later since she could sleep in. I'm so glad we brain washed our daughters at such a young age:

Technically, she likes the game but she really loves the band/drill team & cheerleaders. In fact, she thinks she is a cheerleader already:

Saturday night was pretty low key. We decided not to drive to Austin since we were gone the weekend before & we decided not to invite friends over so we could spend a family night at home. The Longhorns played that night so I made home made pepperoni rolls for us to snack on during the game & Sadie helped me make a s'mores pie:

Yes, it tasted as good as it looked :)

I wish I would have gotten a picture of Sophie because she was really in to the game. She figured out really quickly that we were all watching it & cheering, so she tried to join us. She can't make the longhorn symbol yet, but she held her finger up & said "Go Horns!". It was so cute!

On Sunday, Daddy watched the Cowboys but our girls were still dressed for the longhorns:

Sadie wanted them to wear their longhorn dresses & then she decided they both needed to bring their purses to church. Too cute :)

Thankfully the Horns & the Cowboys celebrated victories - we'll see how the rest of the season goes!
