After a long summer break, we finally had our first MOPS meeting of the fall semester! Hallelujah! MOPS has been one of my favorite things since I have had children & I thoroughly miss seeing everyone in the summer. Technically, we had a group leader retreat a few weeks ago & we had a kick off party before Labor Day, but today was our first real meeting. I am excited to be leading the Daffodil table this year:
I met 9 wonderful women who will be in my group this year & I can't wait to get to know each of them & their children a little better. We kicked off the new year with brunch & a craft. We made special plates, but since our family already has a special plate, I made the girls a birthday plate:
I am not very crafty, but I think it turned out cute enough :) Hopefully the girls will enjoy eating on it as they get older. Before we left, we took a group picture of all of the group leaders:
I am so glad I get to serve alongside each of them!
As we were walking out, Sadie was ecstatic to see her friends:
They are in different Moppet classrooms so technically they aren't together at MOPS. But it's not like we don't see them every other day :) Guess I should feel fortunate the girls feel so comfortable being at MOPS - they enjoy it just as much as I do!
