We had a busy weekend so I never had a chance to get back on the computer to write about our week. I did blog about a few of our play dates, but I found a few more pictures I just had to share. First, I found this adorable one of the girls:
They went cruising around the neighborhood one night. I am so glad Sophie likes to ride in here now, because she was a little hesitant at first. And she isn't big enough to drive yet, so it makes it easier since they don't have to share the driver's seat :)
Last week was our final chance to see the summer movie clubhouse:
I bought all 3 of our movie tickets & a small popcorn for $7 - boy am I going to miss the $1 movies this fall & winter!
Sadie usually gets a mani & pedi once a week:
I usually take her old polish off, give her a bath & then we start fresh afterwards. She likes to have them painted & dried while she watches Dora before bed. Is she spoiled or what? I wish someone would give me a fresh mani & pedi before bed once a week!
Our friend Nat came over to swim but some how I only got a picture of her & Sadie. Her two boys didn't want their picture taken:
This day was horrible. The kids were playing on the swing set while Nat & I were laying out & visiting & all of the sudden one of her boys started running towards us screaming. It took us a while to figure out what happened, but apparently he got stung by a wasp. Ouch. This was the first sting that has happened since I've had kids, so I had to quickly figure out what to do. Now I am better prepared but I hope it doesn't happen again! I checked everywhere & finally found a nest behind the ladder, up high on their swing set. Needless to say it has since been removed & I will try to do a better job of watching out for them. It's so hard because they can pop up every where but I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else at our house again :(
On Friday, Bryan went to the oncologist for his regular check up so the girls & I went with him:
Remember that Bryan got diagnosed when we were pregnant with Sadie, so Dr. Rizvi has known Sadie since she was a baby. I can hardly believe she is almost 4 years old, which means Bryan has been in remission that long!
