We had a special treat this past weekend because my sister-n-law Jessica & her 3 kids came to Texas to visit so we got to spend a couple of days with them. Whitney was born in December & we hadn't even met her yet! They live in Colorado so I always enjoy their trips in the summer because we get to spend quality time together without the distraction on the holidays.
Braxton's birthday is this week & he wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese, so we had a family birthday party for him on Friday. My girls could not have been more excited! As soon as we got there, they took off for games & rides:
You can tell Sophie has really learned how to ham it up & say "cheese" every time I have my camera out :) She loved the games but was so afraid of Chuck E. Every time she saw him, she cried & would only let me or Bryan hold her. The other kids had a blast hugging him, dancing with him & stealing his tickets:
We ate lunch while we were there & the grandparents even treated the kids to popsicles:
Love how Kaitlyn & Braxton are smiling & my child is constantly shoving food in her mouth!
All 3 of them collected a lot of tickets - in fact Sadie really raked them in:
She won 220 tickets on just one game! She was so proud to turn in her tickets & buy something. She chose a pink necklace that she has not taken off since we left there Friday afternoon. And with her few remaining tickets she bought a box of candy that was quickly devoured.
Even Nanny joined us & she spent a lot of time with her new great grand daughter, Whitney, while the rest of us chased the other kids around:
Thank you Grammy & Grandpa for treating all of the kids! We sure had fun helping Braxton celebrate his 4th birthday:
