Since Jessica & the kids only come down twice a year, we try to spend as much time with them as we can while they are here. This summer we talked them into coming over to spend the night so the kids got to spend even more time together. Bryan was gone all weekend so it was kind of a rare treat for it to just be Jessica & I with the kids on Friday night. Saturday morning his parents joined us for a pool party. The kids could hardly wait to jump in:
Look at those divas! Turns out they had matching swim suits from Gymboree :) Since this was the first week the water has actually warmed up & we are starting to swim more often, we got out some of the floats & more pool toys:
I didn't know if Sophie would still like this baby float still, but she did! Thank goodness - that will make it a little easier when I am by myself with both of the girls.
I was also able to catch a snap shot of Grammy & Grandpa with the big kids:
Whitney napped most of the morning but she finally joined us that afternoon:
The grotto was a huge hit & everyone took turns jumping off:
It's so funny looking back at everyone's facial expressions :)
While everyone was here we enjoyed lunch & Sherry brought Braxton a birthday cake so we could do presents & continue his birthday celebration:
Luckily we tired this kiddos out & they took good naps that afternoon. That was probably my favorite part of the day - after everyone left & the kids were down for naps, Jessica & I got to enjoy the pool to ourselves :) Thanks for coming & bringing the kids Jessica! I know we don't get to see you often but we really enjoy our time together when it happens. Looking forward to seeing you again later this week before you fly home!
