When we went downtown on Saturday to pick up Bryan's race packet, we decided to do something fun with the girls while we were down there. It was around lunchtime so we thought we would hit up the food trucks at Klyde Warren Park. We have been there before, but not since Sophie was born. And Sadie & I went with friends, so we hadn't been there with Bryan. As soon as we got there, we loaded up on food & had a picnic in the park:
I wouldn't say our meal was very nutritious, but it was definitely good! It's a little harder to feed Sophie these days when we don't have a high chair, but we survived:
After we ate, we walked over to the children's park & let the girls play:
It ended up being the perfect day - not too hot & not too cold. It was a little overcast, but I think the park was less crowded since it wasn't a clear day. Don't get me wrong, it was still crowded for a Saturday, but not unbearable. I think Bryan had fun since he doesn't usually get to do stuff like this with the girls:
Before we left, Sadie & I made one last stop at Trailercakes to pick up some cupcakes to go:
Such a fun family day!
