Christmas Day 2014

Christmas morning started early. At least for the parents. Santa had everything ready to go the night before but all of the adults in the house were awake & waiting for the kids to get up so we could celebrate:

Santa left the girls a big present at home, but he had to have something for them on Christmas day, so they just got something small:

Sadie got her first baby doll when she turned one at Christmas, so Sophie got the same thing. Now they both have their own Bitty Babies! And Sadie is really into sports & can start participating in a few now that she is 3, so she got a basketball goal. A girl basketball goal of course!

Sadie & Zoe woke each other up since they were sleeping together on the same bunk bed, but Daniel had to wake Kason up:

Sadie didn't waste any time & started shooting hoops right away:

Since Sophie had been sick all week, we let her sleep in & she didn't join our festivities until a few hours later. But that didn't stop Sadie from digging into their stockings:

I even had a little stocking for Bryan:

It sounds a little childish to say, but this was the first year I did not receive a stocking & it was kind of sad :( They are sometimes my favorite part of Christmas! I guess that's what happens when you grow up........

Finally it was time to open gifts & the kids were elated:

My mom bought a lot of the same presents for all of her grandkids, which makes it kind of fun. They each got a DVD, lawn chairs, rain boots & so much more:

She even got the 2 older girls a few matching outfits which is perfect for these besties:

These girls are obsessed with Minnie Mouse! Mimi also bought the girls some Under Armour outfits because that is a new tradition in the Clayton family - their boys live in Under Armour. And then surprised Natalie & I & got us matching sweatshirts too:

Sadie got some new pink heels from The Clayton Crew, but she accidentally slipped & we had a Christmas morning party foul:

She face planted on the hardwood floors & had a bloody nose. Thank goodness she got some princess band aids in her stocking:

When Sophie woke up, we got to help her open gifts:

I know, she's naked, again. She had on her cute Christmas pajamas but after she had her morning bottle, she threw up everywhere. I told you, she had a hard week :(

The big kids were spoiled too - watches & tennis shoes seemed to be the theme for our family this year:

After opening gifts, we enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch:

and we spent the rest of the day being lazy. It's safe to say that all of our families enjoyed a wonderful holiday together full of food, family & presents. Thank you Mimi & Doc for spoiling us:
