Holiday Parties

Remind me to never plan the girls' birthday party the first weekend in December because I have quickly learned the last couple of years that is the busiest weekend in December. Last Saturday we were invited to 4 parties & 3 on Sunday. It started with Breakfast with Santa Saturday morning, which I talked about yesterday. We went straight from there to Jordan's 3rd birthday party at Urban Air:

 

Sadie loves Urban Air & Bryan had never been before there so he enjoyed watching her in action. Even Sophie tried to join in on the fun!

Bryan & Sadie stayed while Sophie & I snuck out because she was invited to a 1st birthday party for one of our friends:

 

 

First birthdays are so fun because they are usually more about the parents than they are the child :) I will admit that I was a little jealous watching him eat his smash cake because Sophie will not get to participate in this tradition since she is not eating food these days. But she had a blast at the party:

I am so glad I got a good picture of her with Sadie earlier in the morning because she was not happy at this point. In her defense, we were there until 2:00 & she had not had a nap. She did pretty good for being dragged to 3 parties! Sadie on the other hand just loved seeing Santa again:

 

 

I think this girl has the Santa thing down. After a crazy day, Bryan & I enjoyed a night out with friends & then we got to attend another party on Sunday night. Date night 2 nights in a row - after this busy holiday season, we deserve it!
