Our church hosted their annual Breakfast in Santa's Workshop Saturday morning so we headed that way. As soon as Sadie woke up, she told me that she was going to sit in Santa's lap & I thought yeah right - I'll believe it when I see it!
When we got there, she was so excited to see the Santa blow up:
We've subsequently seen several blow ups since then & she likes to hug them all :)
Next, we ate breakfast. For some reason Bryan & I had regular pancakes but Sadie got a green pancake:
We are still having problems with Sophie so she just got her usual :)
When the girls finished, we went to story time:
But this busy body was not interested in sitting still & this girl was more interested in coloring:
Until Sophie realized what Sadie was doing & then she wanted to join in on the fun:
They also had a toy factory where kids were building toys, but we had a couple of other parties to get to so we had to skip straight to Santa. And guess what? Sadie made good on her promise:
She was so excited to see Santa that she ran up & sat in his lap. It didn't phase Sophie either so I actually got a really cute picture of them. This is just the picture I took on my iPhone so you see the green screen in this picture, but the actual one that we got from the church has a background & is really cute. And it was free! Don't know how we lucked out on our first Santa picture with both of the girls! By the way, Sadie informed Santa that she wants an Elsa dress & Sophie wants an Anna dress. We'll see if Santa delivers.........
