That seemed to be the theme of our past weekend. We started out Friday night by going to one of the local high school games. Who would have thought that it would be misting raining & cold when it's not even mid-September! I literally had to dig through Sadie's containers of old clothes to find a jacket for Sophie!
We walked down to the track during halftime & Sadie got so excited when we saw their mascot. She kept saying "I want to cheese!" meaning she wanted to take a picture with him, so we tried & this is what happened:
Apparently she didn't want to be that close to him! Of course we took our family selfie & then we headed home because it was getting late for the girls & I was cold :)
On Saturday night we left the girls at home so we could go to the Longhorn game:
UT played UCLA at Cowboy Stadium so it was fun to stay in town for a change instead of driving to Austin & it was at Jerry World - can't beat that!
I was a little nervous about this game since we got killed the week before, but we actually played much better this week. We had the lead but we ended up losing in the last couple of minutes, but at least it was a fun game. We were with a couple of friends & one of their daughters is in the band, so we enjoyed the halftime show watching her:
We may have eaten way too much food, but it was worth every calorie :)
