Playtime

Sadie has had so much fun playing outside again. I mean she did until the past few days. That hail storm blew in with a cold front & it has been unseasonably cold & wet for the past few days. 

Boo:( But before that, she had been playing on the back porch quite a bit & she is even old enough where we can kind of let her play back there by herself now. The only problem I've had is she thinks she has to bring every single toy outside:

 

Literally. I was making her lunch the other day & not really paying attention because she always comes in & out, until I noticed what she was doing. She had brought all of her baby dolls, all of the sippy cups she could find, her table & chairs, car seat, swing, etc.

 

 

I tried to explain to her the difference between inside & outside toys, but she didn't get it. There might have been a little melt down when I made her bring all of inside toys back inside :)

 

And Sophie is loving her play mat, especially in the morning. After she has her morning bottle, she will lay down there & play for at least an hour. And then I can still put her back down there later in the afternoon or night. She is easily entertained right now! She loves the bright colors & all of the toys. You can see from my pictures how happy she is:

She is always down here when she is awake & ready to play. We really only put her in her swing or in the nap nanny when it's time to take a morning cat nap because she doesn't like to be confined anymore. She is really moving a lot these days & most of the times she doesn't even stay on her mat because she is inching all over the place. She is trying hard to roll also, but she hasn't quite made it all the way over yet. She is trying to roll both directions from her back to her tummy & I am sure she will do it any day now!
