Easter Sunday

The Easter Bunny came to visit Sunday morning & left baskets filled for Sadie & Sophie!

 

And the girls were lucky to have a few extras thrown in there as well. One of Bryan's friends in New York sent the girls matching beach towels (so cute!) Grammy & Grandpa got the girls a Princess Sofia DVD and Mimi & Doc got the girls an animal croquet set. Sadie was so excited to come downstairs, she didn't even finish getting ready for church!

 

 

Actually, I told Bryan not to worry about her hair because she got her first big girl hair brush in her basket & I knew she would want to fix her own hair :) As you can see from the pictures above, that was the first thing she went for! She also got several headbands with flowers & bows on them that I thought she would want to try on, but she could have cared less. Hopefully she will like those one of these days! Instead, she was more interested in the crocs that she got. In fact, we kind of had a mini melt down because she wanted to wear them to church!

 

Speaking of church, we had to leave in a hurry to make it to bible class, so we didn't get pictures before we left :( But it's a good thing we made it to bible class on time because they had a petting zoo & Sadie got to go see all of the animals:

 

 

Sadie was a little timid, so she had to go in with her Dad :)

 

After church we headed to Nanny's house (Bryan's grandmother) for Easter lunch with his family. Sadie had a blast running around & playing with all of the kids. They did a special Easter egg hunt just for her:

 

 

And we finally attempted our family pictures, but we learned our lesson for waiting after lunch & before nap time :( Next year we will definitely take the time to take pictures before church!
