Sadie & I just got home from a boy's birthday party this morning that was "Cars" themed. She had so much fun that she went right down for her afternoon nap & I am looking forward to some peace & quiet this afternoon :)
While at the party, Sadie had all sorts of fun - she played in the ball pit:
She jumped in the bounce house with the birthday boy:
Most of the boys participated in racing games while the girls just ran around pulling up & playing with all of the racing flags:
Occasionally she would stop & take a break at the picnic table when she needed to cool off or have a drink of water:
She spent most of her time outside but I could convince her every now & then to come inside to do some coloring:
or to do a little snacking. The food was delicious & Maggie did a great job! That's the fun part about tagging along to kids' birthday parties :) She made everything from scratch herself & I was super impressed.
Can you believe she made that car cake? It tasted as good as it looked! Thanks Maggie & Matthew for inviting us to your birthday party - Sadie had a blast (& so did her Mom!)
