Yesterday, Sadie & I went on a play date with Nat & her son Jackson. I posted a picture of him earlier when he was first born - he is 2 months younger than Sadie. We met them at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden for Mommy & Me Monday. It was absolutely beautiful this time of year with everything in full bloom - especially the tulips - those are my favorites! And it was awesome weather, although a little hot for this early in Spring. I think it got up to 84 degrees outside & poor Sadie got pretty hot. That was my first outing in the heat with her, so I have learned my lesson & need to be more prepared next time with sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, etc. I was pretty bummed that I didn't get any pictures of the beautiful scenery - I was too busy enjoying myself & taking pictures of Sadie. She really enjoyed being outside & hanging out with Jackson.
This last picture I took of Sadie when we were leaving the park & she is pretty tired. I really like it though because it shows her beautiful blue eyes! She was born with blue eyes but I didn't know if they would stay or change colors, but since she is almost 4 months old, I am hoping they are here to stay!
