8 Weeks Old

Today Sadie turned 8 weeks old & she is getting cuter every day! She started smiling early on, but they were mostly reflex movements & sometime in the last week or so she has really started showing us her little personality. We can now make her smile on her own by talking to her, tickling her, playing with her, etc. I haven't really been able to capture any smiles on camera until yesterday -

We were on the way to her 2 month check-up. Little did she know she was going to get 3 shots while she was there. Needless to say, she was not smiling on the way home :( Overall she is developing on track & everything looks good. She's still a little petite, but nothing to be concerned about. She definitely likes to eat & she let's us know when she is hungry. We'll see if she catches up when solid foods are introduced because her Mommy & Daddy like to eat! Here are her 8 week stats:
