Two Weeks Old

Can you believe it? Sadie turned two weeks old today! Already?! We went to the doctor for her two week appointment yesterday & she is looking good so far. She gained 4 ounces, but she is still not up to her birth weight yet. Unfortunately, we learned that she is having a hard time digesting cow's milk - meaning all the dairy that I consume, so that means that I have to give up dairy for a while. Bummer - I am big milk drinker! But anything to help her get bigger & stronger. Hopefully we can re-introduce dairy products in a few weeks when her digestive system can handle it.

My parents came back to visit for a few days & my Dad got to spend some extra time with her. They got to give her a bath & we celebrated Christmas while they were here. Here are a few snapshots:

Mimi & Doc gave Sadie her first luggage set! I guess that's a sign they want her to come visit :) They gave her a suitcase & a backpack & Aunt Natalie gave her the matching lunchbox.

Last night, we also had some friends come over to bring us dinner & watch the UT basketball game. Thanks James Family! This is Sadie's local "aunt & uncle" since the real ones don't live in the area :(
