The past 4 days have been filled with friends, family & food as we celebrated Christmas all weekend. We have graciously enjoyed our time with everyone, however, I must admit that is was nice to wake up today to a quiet house with just the 3 of us. Guess the holidays are over & life will return back to normal as Bryan & I adjust to having a baby around the house :) Here is a recap showing our busy weekend.
On Friday, my extended family came over to visit & meet Sadie. My Aunt, Uncle & Mama got to meet her for the first time.
By the way, here is a close up of her Christmas onesie that my sister made - thanks Aunt Natalie!
Later that day, our friend Catherine came over & brought us dinner - thanks Cat! Especially for the homemade Oreo cookies - those were delicious!
Also, our friend Eric came to visit all the way from Minneapolis. OK, maybe not just to see Sadie, but he was in town to visit family......
On Saturday, we hosted all of Bryan's family for the annual Dodson Christmas Eve party. I know, some people thought I was crazy wanting to host Christmas at our house while having a 2 week old baby, but everyone helped out & we had a great time. It was extra special getting to have Christmas at our house for Sadie's first Christmas. Here is just a snippet of the evening because I took a ton of pictures. Most are of family passing Sadie around - it's a good thing she sleeps a lot & doesn't mind being held!
Bryan's parents, Grammy & Grandpa, spent the entire weekend with us, so on Sunday, we celebrated Christmas with them.
Thank you family & friends for all of your help & support in the past few weeks. Bryan & I were fortunate to share our Christmas blessing with each of you!
