Bryan & I were fortunate to spend time with both of our Mom's this weekend. My parents drove up from Houston and spent a few days with us & while they were here, Bryan's parents came over and we all went out on Friday night. Bryan & I took them to dinner & in case you are wondering what they chose, it was Babe's Chicken House! For those of you who don't know this well-known DFW establishment, I suggest you try it if you ever to come to visit. It is home-cooked, comfort food & it is served family style. Needless to say we all ate more than we needed, but in Bryan's case that is good because we are trying to get him to gain weight! Afterwards, we went to our favorite local joint in downtown Frisco: The Double Dip for ice cream (actually, it's custard :) Bryan & I usually go here about once a week for a date night and our parents have learned to love it as well. We are lucky to have fabulous Mothers who we both admire deeply and we are blessed that they both live close enough to visit & help out during the tough months ahead. Thank you for all that you have done & everything you continue to do - we love you both!
