Bryan's birthday was last weekend & we celebrated by going to the Texas Rangers baseball game:
We have been to a ton of sporting events with the girls but for some reason have never taken them to a Rangers game?! They have been to several Roughrider games because those are in town, but I guess we don't drive to Arlington often. Earlier this summer, he suggested we take the girls to a game & when I looked at their schedule, I noticed Bryan's birthday was on a Saturday & they had a home game - I knew it was perfect! I invited his parents to come with us & our nephew, Braxton, happened to be in town so he got to come too:
We got there early so the kids could watch batting practice. We stood by the bullpen & one of the coaches tossed one of the baseballs that had been hit into the bullpen from a home run. Out of all of the boys, guess which sweet little girl he tossed it to?
Bryan was excited to eat at the ballpark for his birthday dinner:
and then we headed up to our seats. Bryan had bought tickets for all of us way up high, but then we ended up getting 4 free tickets much lower so we all snuck down there instead & ended up having great seats:
It was a fun night, even though they lost & I am glad his family got to celebrate with us:
