Along with the last week of school, Sophie had her last week of spring volleyball! They have 2 divisions for their grade & they were in the top division. They have been playing for the past 2 years & have really improved! In fact, last week was the end of the season tournament & the girls made it all the way to the championship game. They lost unfortunately but it was so close! Thanks to our good friend, Liz, she took some amazing shots this season that I have been excited to share:
After the championship game, they got medals & of course we had to take a few team pictures:
They each brought 2 bags of candy & made a candy salad to celebrate. Ha ha! Let's just say that they each came home with a goodie bag full of sweets!
She really lucked out with this team & our coach. In fact, she is going to take their team to play for a club in the fall & Sophie plans to continue so we shall see where this group of girls take us!
