Back in the fall, Sadie's soccer team had a photo shoot for media day but I never shared the pictures because I was waiting to print them & give them for Christmas presents. Now that soccer has ramped up again, I thought about the pictures & knew it was time to share because they turned out great. I mean look at this girl & her game face:
But I personally love this one too. She can still have a little sass with her fierceness:

Speaking of these girls, they trained over the winter break on their own for 2 weeks, then they had a 4 mile fitness test after New Year's & are back at it. They had their first tournament last weekend, the Winter Classic and their coach signed them up in the boys division. Just look at the height difference from one of her games:
If you can't tell, it was freezing out there. Literally! The high was 37 degrees all weekend but most of the time the windchill was in the 20's. No sun, cloudy weather & cold. Brrrr.......
They had 4 games & they dominated. They won 8-0, 7-0, 2-1 & tied 1-1. It was so fun watching them beat up the boys. Ha! Not a bad way to start the year:
We had another tournament planned this weekend but they had to cancel it because of the weather. We have had so much rain & with the cooler temps, the fields were too wet. But we are heading to Austin next weekend so hopefully the boys prepared us to play against the girls again!
