Christmas Spectacular at The Star

When we came home from Conroe, we immediately switched from Thanksgiving mode to Christmas mode. Does anyone else feel like Thanksgiving was late this year & Christmas is right around the corner?! Thank goodness we decided to decorate the house the weekend before Thanksgiving before we headed out of town so when we got home, we could just enjoy it :)

We kicked off our Christmas by surprising the girls with:

We went last year & the girls loved it! They do a big Christmas tree lighting every Friday & Saturday night from Thanksgiving until Christmas & Jerry Jones does it right! It's a 30 minute show with the Cowboy Cheerleaders, Dancers, local celebrities, fireworks, etc. We invited friends this year & got great spots up front for the kids:

Although Sophie preferred watching the show up here:

Unfortunately since this was the first night, they were having technical difficulties & the show started almost 30 minutes late :( But the kids were troopers & once it finally started it was totally worth it!

And since they were on the front row, they got to shake hands & do a bunch of high fives with the cheerleaders & Rowdy:

They even got to meet Jason Witten:

That top picture shows Sophie's hand & the bottom picture shows Sadie. But the luckiest guy in our group was Byron:

He was so excited when he heard who was lighting the tree because he loves the Dallas Cowboys! He came with a book & was able to get Jason's autograph. So cool!

As the show slowed down, they had one last surprise appearance:

Yep, they got to touch his hand also!

It was such a fun night & the perfect way to kick off the Christmas holiday!
