On Thursday, Sophie & I had to leave VBS because she had her dress rehearsal for her dance recital:
Doesn't she look adorable?! It's always a good time to practice her hair & make up before recital day. And since there aren't many people there, we get to sit up front & take pictures & videos while they practice. I got a great video & couldn't help but take a few action shots also:
We don't get to video or take pictures on performance day so I am so glad we get to at rehearsal.
On Saturday morning, Sophie woke up ready to go. Thankfully we got there early so we could take a few pictures before I had to drop her off back stage:

Then it was showtime! They have 3 shows during the weekend & she performs in the first one, which is mostly the younger kids. They are always so cute! One of our friends stayed backstage so she sent a couple of snapshots of the girls:

While they were back there, I was sitting in the audience with her cheering squad:
Afterwards we got to pick her up & it was picture time with the family:
We are so proud of our little dancer & I hope her love of dance continues as she grows older!
