Aruba 2019

I know it sounds crazy, but 3 days after we got home from the Disney Cruise, Bryan & I were stepping back on an airplane & heading on vacation again. We had these 2 trips planned months ago so I knew it would be a quick turn around, but somehow we managed. The cruise was a wonderful vacation but definitely a family vacation. This trip was technically a business trip, but anytime you travel without kids it is a vacation:

I know it sounds crazy going on a business trip to Aruba, but it was! We went with both of his business partners, Dave & Justin. We met Justin & Krystal at the airport really early Sunday morning & flew together. We couldn't get to the island fast enough! We were ready for sun & warm weather :) Everything was planned for our trip so we didn't really know what to expect, but the resort was great! Beautiful landscaping & perfect beach:

There were a couple of pools, waterfalls & even a bird sanctuary:

Every morning they would let the birds out. It was fun watching them fly around & even talk to us! I face timed the girls a couple of times so they could see them. We even got to hold them later in the week:

As soon as we got to our hotel they welcomed us with drinks. They even had fresh coconuts that they cracked open so we could have fresh coconut water:

And then we walked around to check out our resort:

Let's just say we were just a little bit excited! The cruise was fun, but we are beach people. I would rather be on a land vacation any day! After we unpacked & settled in, we headed out to dinner for fresh seafood & drinks:

Cheers to Aruba! You would think that I wouldn't take as many pictures when the kids aren't with me, but I still do :) Especially since we were with friends. So get ready for lots more vacay pictures this week.
