Shooting Stars End of Season Party - Winter 2017

Bryan & I take the girls to the Texas Legends basketball games a few times a year & last time we were there, they invited Sadie's basketball team to come have their end of the season party with them. Great idea, huh?! They gave us almost 50 tickets complimentary so the girls & their family could come watch a game so we went Friday night:

For most of them, this was their first time getting to watch a real basketball game. We all had tickets together & the girls got to sit on the 3rd row so they were close to the action. They had fun cheering, talking, eating & watching the game. Of course all of the siblings did too:

The parents had fun as well:

Overall, it was a fun family evening - very relaxed & a good chance to get to know all of the families better:

At one point, the girls were up dancing & they made it on the big screen:

Originally they asked us for our team logo so they could throw it up on the big screen & they talked about introducing the girls but unfortunately none of that happened. I was kind of disappointed but at least we got free tickets & the girls had a blast, which is all that matters:

After halftime, we had everyone go up to the top of the bleachers in the corner where it was a little quieter so we could have a quick ceremony. Bryan called out of the girls individually & had medals for them:

Of course we had to take a team picture one last time:

The girls spent the rest of the game playing on the court down below. Either on the bounce houses or over in the Home Depot section woodworking:

It was a fun night & a fun season. So glad Bryan volunteered to coach Sadie's team:

We are so thankful to have gotten a basketball goal for Christmas so now we can practice before the summer season.
