Sophie started playing soccer shots after school in January & they just finished up their winter season before spring break. She loves playing because she wants to be just like her big sister, but it helps that she has a few friends in the program also. On their last day, their coach gave them medals & Sophie couldn't have been prouder:
Now she has her own medal to wear around the house, just like Sadie:
I was worried how Sadie would do with Sophie in Soccer Shots but she has been great also. It helps that KJ & Gavin have older sisters also so the 3 older girls play on the playground while the little ones practice. Half of the time Sophie is waving at the moms sitting on the sidelines or the big girls on the play ground, but at least she is having fun out there!
They will start the spring season after spring break & it will conclude when school finishes in May. If she still likes it, she will follow in Sadie's footsteps & start playing in the FSA recreational league in the fall.
