Most of our weekend revolves around soccer, so Friday night Sadie had practice & Saturday morning, she had a game. After 4 seasons we finally realized that we needed a team chair:
Isn't that awesome?! We have seen other teams with them & they are great! I think it's important for the girls to sit together as a team & cheer for their teammates:
It was another beautiful, warm weekend so we promised the girls we would heat up the hot tub & let them swim:
This was the first time Sadie kind of complained that the hot tub was too small to swim in. She used to swim all over it & we called it the baby pool but now she has gotten bigger & realized she can't swim much. She got brave once & jumped into the pool & quickly realized how cold it was so she didn't go back in! I believe the pool water was 61:
But I was most impressed with Sophie. She hasn't exactly loved swimming. In fact, she usually sits on the side or plays with her water table, but this time she actually swam. By herself!
Cannot tell you how excited I was to see her swimming & enjoying it! I don't know if it's because she is finally getting a littler older or her new swim instructor is making a difference, but either way I love seeing her confidence in the water & can't wait to see how much she will improve this summer when we are swimming more often!
Sunday was a busy day with church, a birthday party & dinner with friends, but I didn't really take any pictures. Except for this:
We are visiting a new church these days & it is a lot larger so they have golf carts that take you back & forth from your car to the church. This might be the girls' favorite thing about Sunday mornings now!
