Since Sophie finally got all of her shots last week, I have started booking our calendar & I am enjoying making plans again. And it officially kicked off last weekend. Friday morning, we went to our first play date. I will post pictures of that tomorrow because Sadie had a blast! Sophie mostly slept :) Friday night, we went out to eat dinner like a normal family. It felt great to not have to serve my family & wash dishes! Saturday we went to a birthday party for my friend Heather's son. He turned two & luckily he let Sophie tag a long for the party even though technically Sadie was invited. While we were there, I ran into one of my other college friends, Destin. It was so good to see her & both of her boys! And she spent some time loving on Sophie:
Sunday we finally went to church as a family of four! Bryan has been going every week & taking Sadie while I stay at home with Sophie, so I was so glad to get to go again. And I was even more excited to dress Sophie up in the same zebra dress & brown fur cardigan that Sadie wore when she went to church for the first time:
And that night Sophie got to watch her first Super Bowl game. Granted, we didn't do anything very exciting. We stayed at home just the four of us & had a low key party. In fact, we had to turn off the game for about 30 minutes so Sadie could watch Bubble Guppies before she went to bed & then we caught up on the game after she went down.
It was a busy weekend for our family of four, but we are slowly learning how to get out of the house with everyone dressed & fed. It's definitely a lot easier when I have Bryan around to help me out!
