MOPS

One of my favorite things to do with Sadie was to attend out MOPS meetings twice a month, but I missed our Christmas party at MOPS because it was the day after Sophie was born & then I didn't go to the first meeting in January because I wasn't ready to take Sophie yet. Technically, I still shouldn't take her since she hasn't gotten her shots, but I actually broke the rules for once & we went this week! It felt so good to get out of the house & finally do something normal again :) Sadie loved going to her MOPS class so she could play with her friends & I loved getting to re-join my group of ladies. Luckily we sat in the back & Sophie slept the entire time, so I left her in her car seat covered with a blanket. A few of my friends peaked in on her so they could see her, but no one touched her. I was quite proud of myself because it the first time I had to get all 3 of us ready, fed & out the door with our bags packed first thing in the morning. I even documented the occasion with film - you know me!

And since Sophie slept, I was able to enjoy a wonderful brunch (you know breakfast is my favorite meal of the day!) & I got to participate in the craft. I always say I'm not very creative, but if someone shows me how to do something, then I can normally do it. I'm just not good with coming up with the idea! We have made some really cute stuff this year including my to-do list frame, which is what we made this week:

For those who know me, I am sure you aren't surprised by the color scheme I chose :) I am a list maker so this will work perfect sitting on my desk. All I need to buy is a dry erase marker & I can start making my list.

I look forward to the rest of our MOPS meetings as we move forward with the spring semester. Who knows, maybe next time we can get Sophie out to play since she will be vaccinated!
