This morning our church had a special treat for the little ones: Breakfast with Santa! Since we had a late night, we didn't make it as early as some of our friends, but we got to see some of them briefly before they left. Here is Emily & Eva with all of our girls:
After we made the rounds visiting, we finally indulged in breakfast & Sadie loved her pancakes!
We even invited some of our friends who don't go to church with us & Sadie loved showing them around. They did some coloring, visited the toy factory, watched some ice skaters & enjoyed story time:
They even got to play with a nativity scene. They kept playing with the animals & baby Jesus :)
And of course they did some serious snacking. I believe they shared popcorn, cookies & chocolate covered pretzels. Can't you tell by the expressions on their face how happy they are?!
But of course the main reason we were there was to see the big man himself. And his wife. Byron & Tatum had already visited Santa at the mall, so they were more prepared:
Sadie on the other hand wasn't so sure. She wouldn't go to Santa directly, but she would sit up there by him without crying, as long as her Dad sat with her :)
Obviously they were sitting in front of a green screen, so here is their official picture:
Obviously we had a fun time & we were so glad our friends were able to join us. By the way, have I mentioned that my friend Jamie is also pregnant & will be having another little girl just a few months younger than our next one?! We are so excited for their family!
And it's weird to say, but this may be one of the last family photos of the three of us:
It's surreal to think that our whole family dynamic will be changing any day now.....
