Sadie is always in a hurry & running somewhere, especially when she is outside. She falls quite often but normally she gets back up & keeps on going. Occasionally she'll pucker up & cry & look to us for attention, but we are pretty good about encouraging her to get back up on her own. until the other night. We were outside playing while waiting for Miles to come over & she fell on the driveway & got her first boo boo. Nothing major, but it scraped both of her knees up & they were bleeding. I think was the first time as a mom that I had to play nurse. I just cleaned it off & put a band aid on it. As you can see, Sadie was not a happy camper:
She is a bit of a drama queen :) Actually, Bryan & I comment all the time how she is very cautious & you can tell she gets scared easily, so it doesn't take much to make her cry!
My mom gave her these really cute band aids that have cupcakes on them that I thought would cheer her up, but since she has never worn a band aid before, she didn't know what she thought about it. The good news is that all of this was over a few minutes later & I am sure this won't be the only boo-boo she ever gets :)
