One of my good friends from college moved to the DFW area a few months ago. We have been trying to get together for the past 2 months & we were finally able to have them over for dinner last night.
It's sad to admit this, but last time we saw them, Sadie was only a few months old & Heather was pregnant. Obviously we had a lot to catch up on! Miles & Sadie hit it off & played together the best they could.
They are almost 2 months apart so it will be fun watching them grow up together. You can tell we spent a lot of time outside last night. After dinner we took them for a walk because the adults ate too much :) Sadie is such a little diva driving her car around while Miles took over the wagon.
This bottom picture cracks me up because this is a "new" thing that Sadie is doing. It started last night & she has been doing it all day. She thinks it's hilarious to put her hands on her face like that - she looks like the little boy from Home Alone!
After our walk the kids decided to play with the water table. This was the first time Sadie had a friend over to play with since we got her new outdoor toys so she was pretty excited!
We are so glad the Morris family moved closer & can't wait to have more play dates this summer!
