April Play Date

Sadie & I try to get together with Mia, Jamie & both of their kids at least once a month for a play date. It's kind of sad really that we live less than 2 miles away & we can only get together once a month?! Actually, we live in the neighborhood next door - they live a few houses down from each other!

 

This month we went to Jamie's house & she had the backyard ready to go for all of the kids. Sadie had a blast, mostly because of the new toys everywhere & she had fun running around with the other kids. I always have a good time visiting & taking pictures :)

 

As soon as we got there Sadie ran for the swing:

 

 

Not the best picture of her, but I thought it was funny because the wind was blowing her hair kind of crazy! They also took turns riding in the wagon:

 

 

But the highlight of the day was the water table! Jordan & Sadie went crazy splashing each other & getting themselves wet.

 

 

Of course they had to take a lunch break since they worked up an appetite from all that playing.

 

 

I had to post this last picture & brag a little because I was so proud of Sadie. This is probably the 3rd or 4th time that she has sat at a table & ate by herself from a big chair. Also, you will notice that she ate off a plate without making a mess. Granted, we don't do this at home normally, because we just put her in a high chair, but I'm glad to see that she has good table manners - especially at someone else's house!

You can tell this is after we have been outside for 2 hours & all of the kids are getting tired & ready for their nap.
