I have always been a morning person & Bryan is a night owl, so it's only fitting that those roles play into our routine with Sadie as well. I get Sadie up most mornings, feed her & get her dressed for the day. And most of the time we spend the entire day together, unless it is a weekend or Bryan is around. But Bryan has always done a good job of helping out at night. He always tries to play with her while I cook dinner. After dinner, she usually has about one hour of play time left. Sometimes she is as happy as can be playing by herself, but sometimes she wants our attention. Bryan always does a good job of playing with her. He is also the one who likes to turn on the tv. They like to watch Team UmiZoomi together :) On those rare days, Sadie will cuddle in his lap & watch tv before she goes to bed. He also introduced her to his cell phone.
He has downloaded several apps & he is teaching her technology already! Sometimes they listen to toddler tunes, sometimes they listen to other babies laughing, or it could be the sound of different animals. She is mesmerized by that thing. Probably because I take my phone away from her most of the time :) There have even been a few times he likes to play videos of herself so she can watch.
After playtime, he almost always gives her a bath or puts her down. I think he enjoys spending the time with her since he is gone all day & I know she loves spending time with him. She gets really excited when he comes home. She can hear the garage door open & she runs to meet him at the door! Personally, I love having my night to myself as I unwind from the day, but most of all, it makes me smile to see him being such a loving father!
