Family Night

This past weekend the Longhorns did not have a game, so I must confess it was nice to be in town & not have to plan our day around the football game! Friday night, we actually enjoyed a family night just the 3 of us, or should I say 4......

 

Don't read too much into that last sentence, I was talking about the other leading lady in my life - Daisy! Unfortunately, she had to stay home while the rest of us enjoyed a Mexican fiesta. Sadie really likes going out to eat with us these days. After all, she is such a big girl sitting in her high chair:

 

 

And getting to eat fajitas:

 

 

Although I think more of the fajitas ended up on the floor than in her mouth!

 

 

But she sure looks cute eating them, right? Afterwards she got to celebrate with a big glass of milk:

 

 

Thank goodness she had the table to help prop her bottle up. It gets tiring holding that thing the whole time! Finally she got to spend some quality time with her Dad:

 

 

Are they a cute couple or what? The best part of the night was going to the Double Dip to get frozen custard. Sadie is so happy sitting on the bench with us outside as we people watch. Luckily for us there is so much entertainment, that she doesn't even realize that we are eating ice cream & she doesn't get any! I know, I am the mean Mom who hasn't given her any sweets yet, except for fruit. Soon enough she will be indulging her ice cream cone & I can't wait to capture that moment!
