I don't know how, but apparently we are already in our 3rd week of summer! I guess we are having so much fun, it is flying by already. The first week I signed the girls up for volleyball camp at our high school. It was like social hour because they had so many friends there - we even had a good group we carpooled with:
Volleyball session 1 was for 3rd - 6th grade so both girls got to go, but the next week was basketball camp & it was only for 5th & 6th grade so Sadie went with a friend:
This was the first time the girls were old enough for our high school camps & they loved them! They loved meeting the coaches, seeing friends from school & they actually learned some new skills. These will definitely be on my radar again next summer.
After camp, we've had a lot of friends over to swim. Swim, jump on the trampoline, eat popsicle, repeat!
Sadie got invited to a pool party with her friends from school one day also:
and Sophie went swimming with her friend at Life Time. She LOVED the slide there:
She also went to one of Kate's playoff softball games:
They have both had several sleepovers already. That's the fun part about getting older:
And did I mention lots of donuts already this summer?!
We went to the movies already to see The Little Mermaid with a few friends:

Sophie had a date night with Dad at Whataburger while Sadie & I were at soccer one evening. They like to brag about all of the gluten they consumed:
We were supposed to travel for Memorial Day, but our plans changed so we stayed home instead which ended up being a fun weekend. We had friends over for the holiday & then went to a party at a friend's house the next day:
I am exhausted just posting all of these pictures! It has been a busy, but fun summer so far. We love sleeping in, taking it easy, swimming, eating & spending lots of time with friends. Truthfully, we are enjoying the weather while we can because it will be too hot before we know it. Cheers to summer!
