Sister Sleepover

Typically our weekends are so busy we don't have time for sleepovers, but last weekend the girls had Friday & Monday off from school so since they could sleep in on Friday morning without games, I left both of the girls invite a friend over to spend the night. Honestly, this isn't the first time, but it has been a long time! We haven't had too many play dates or friends in our house at all over the past year. First, due to Covid, then next because our house has been under construction so it wasn't safe. Sophie has only had 1 friend sleepover, so she might have been the most excited:

Before Sutton came over, Sophie laid out all of our Halloween decor & set up for the party:

She even made a list of everything they were going to do! She requested Mexican for dinner so I had a bag of fall leaves tortilla chips from Trader Joe's that we used to make nachos:

The girls played Halloween games, including Halloween Bingo with candy corn:

Baked Halloween fudge:

Watched movies & stayed up late:

The next morning I surprised the girls & made home made donuts:

We used to go buy donuts but since Sadie & I are gluten free, I make them now but this was our first time to make them for friends. I think they had fun decorating & eating them! It was a fun night for them & I am so glad we had a long weekend off to enjoy.
