Last weekend we officially kicked off our fall sports season! Call us crazy, but we will have 5 games every weekend for the next few months. Sadie's soccer team is playing in 2 leagues, so she has a game every Saturday & Sunday:
Sophie is playing soccer also & they always start the weekend after Labor Day but for some reason it got pushed back a week so she will start this weekend. But they did start practicing last week & she is ready to play!
Sadie is also playing volleyball again with her friends from school:
She loves volleyball, which is surprising because it is so different from soccer. I think it is partly the sport but also playing with friends.
We also have cheer. The FFL only plays in the fall so this is Sophie's favorite time of year! They had their first game this past weekend & they won in double overtime! Pretty exciting for pee wee football!
This year the boys moved from flag to tackle so the game was a lot more fun! Last year we didn't get to socialize with the other team because of Covid so this year was fun to celebrate with the other cheerleaders during the 3rd quarter:
Finally, we have college football! You know Bryan & I have a whole portion of our closet with burnt orange so that is pretty much we wear every Saturday in the fall. We were laughing because our family was matching with the Bellen family:
They may be busy weekends, but we sure have fun watching the girls in action! And sometimes we even have time to sneak in a date night:
