Life Lately

It may be the last day of February, but our spring activities are already in full swing. We went straight from basketball to soccer & both of the girls are playing outdoors again. Sadie is playing in 2 different leagues with her club team:

And Sophie's rec team started back up with Bryan coaching:

Can you tell spring soccer has been cold so far?! I still don't know why spring soccer starts in February......

Basketball may have ended a few weeks ago but we just had Sadie's team party this weekend:

It was fun getting the girls back together again off the court.

We officially finished cookie season with Sophie's girl scout troop. They did a booth this year & they had so much fun! Unfortunately it ended up being rainy & cold, but the girls did great & still sold several boxes despite the weather:

Here is a random picture from school:

Apparently Sadie's class played reading chairs instead of musical chairs in library. And Sophie had fun when one of the 2nd grade classes came & read to the kindergarteners. It wasn't Sadie's class but one of Sadie's friends:

Our new spring schedule allows us one free afternoon per week so we have tried to squeeze in a few play dates on those days:

I'm not sure why I have these 2 random pictures of Sophie eating ice cream but they are still cute to share, right?!

Speaking of food, we enjoyed an awesome meal with friends last night:

We stayed up way too late & ate way too much but we don't do it often so it was worth it!

Finally, we have had a lot of birthday parties. We had so many in January & February I lost count. Not as many for Sadie, but for Sophie. I think it is the kindergarten curse!

Sadie did go to a really fun party at a farm/petting zoo where they got to see a lot of animals & make s'mores by a bonfire:

Clearly I didn't take many pictures at most of the parties except for this one & they were mostly at Sadie's prompts. She wanted me to take pictures of everything so she could show Sophie.

It's been a fun winter but tomorrow is March 1 & we are ready for spring!
