We have finally slowed down now that most of our fall activities have ended & our weekends have been nice. Our schedule has slowed down, the weather has been nice & we are enjoying fall! The girls celebrated Veteran's Day at school with an assembly & I found this picture on our school's website:
Isn't she a patriotic cutie?!
She is still loving school & all of her new friends. They had their second girl scout meeting & she loved it also:
Can you tell?!
Our school held a family movie night last week & we all enjoyed eating pizza & popcorn with our friends in the cafeteria:
Since our schedule has slowed down, we have finally had time for a few play dates after school:
We've also had time to actually watch the Longhorns play! We invited friends over last weekend to watch the game together. She is one of the first friends Bryan met at UT & we don't get to see each other as often as we like, but I can't believe how old our kids are - especially hers!
We are also excited for Thanksgiving next week! I celebrated early at a women's gathering at our church:
And Sophie had a special homework assignment where she had to disguise a turkey. She tried to turn hers into a mermaid:
And for a fall throwback, I found these pictures on Bryan's phone. We carved our pumpkin back in October, before Halloween but I guess I forgot to take the pics off his phone:
As much as we have loved fall, I think we are ready to pack up the pumpkins & move on to twinkling lights!
