Life Lately

We kicked off our month with a trip to the pumpkin patch:

We kept waiting for the weather to cool off but it never did so we just went anyway. It was already October, we had some parties coming up & we were ready to decorate the front porch:

It may have been mid 90's out there, but these girls still had fun!

For some reason, we have been slammed with birthday parties this month also. Sophie went to a gymnastics party:

Sadie went to 2 parties at Urban Air 2 different times & then after one of the parties, she went back to their house & they made slime:

She also got invited to a party at a nail salon. The girls were pampered with manicures & pedicures:

Afterwards they walked to our favorite cookie store in town for dessert:

While Sadie was at one of her parties, Sophie got pampered at home with a face mask:

And last night, we had a sleepover. Since Sophie had a late over earlier this weekend with her cheer squad we let Sadie invite a friend to spend the night. They swam in the hot tub:

I saved all of the Halloween activities from the late over so they got to do them also - Halloween craft, mummy juice, Halloween bingo, etc.:

They played games, watched a movie & stayed up late. I have no idea how late because I couldn't hang with them! Eventually they fell asleep & when they woke up this morning, Bryan surprised them with donuts:

It's been a fun, long, holiday weekend, but also kind of exhausting! I think we might have had a little too much fun :)
