I have blogged about this a few times so this isn't new, but Sophie finally had her first football game to cheer at. We had met her squad earlier this summer at a pool party, we had a cheer camp for the girls & we have been practicing for a while but she was excited to finally cheer at the game for the boys:
The girls did great, especially considering it was so hot outside. They had about 10 cheers/chants that they knew, did lots of spirit/jumps & even performed at halftime in front of everyone:
Afterwards, we lined the girls up & they made a tunnel for the boys to run through:
And then we had a big surprise. The football coach asked the girls to wait on the field after the game & all of the boys passed out roses to the girls. It was adorable!
Afterwards we all took turns taking pictures with our little cheerleader because we were so proud of her:
Like I've said, she has fun at other things, but I have never seen her enjoy anything this much! I am so glad Jamie & I decided to do this for our girls so they could do it together:
