Family Worship

Usually on Sunday mornings, we go to church for 2 services. The first hour we go to life group & our kids go to children's church & then the second hour we go to church service while the kids have bible class. However, during July they give everyone a break & we just have family worship as a family together. Attendance is usually down this time of year because so many people are traveling but personally I think it is good for our children to come worship with us. One Sunday this month, they let the children help out so the girls took turns greeting everyone as they walked in & handed out bulletins:

Bryan is on the welcome committee so he greets people often. He said Sadie was a little shy but Sophie was in her element! That didn't surprise me at all :) 

Then in church, they invited children to come help lead worship:

Sophie is technically on the pre-school side still, but Sadie went up there! Can you spot on her on the end?

I had to walk down there to get a picture of her because for someone who is shy, she got up there & did great!

So proud of both of them & their heart for God!
