I offered the girls 2 camps this summer - 1 in June & 1 in July. We knew right away both of them would do Sky Ranch in June, but Sophie had a hard time choosing what she wanted to do in July. We talked about soccer, cheer, dance, gymnastics, sports - all kinds of options out there but she ultimately decided on cheer & dance camp at her dance studio:
She went last week & she loved it! It was a quick camp for 2 hours every afternoon but she learned a lot. They did a craft every day which were fun - 1 day they decorated megaphones & the next they decorated their hair bows:
She came home every night showing us what she learned - cheer positions, jumps, dance routines, etc:
On their final day, we got there early & they had a performance for us:
I was honestly surprised how much they learned in 1 week! They did a 2 minute cheer/dance routine for us including tumbling & jumps. She beamed with excitement & we were so proud! The camp was for 5-10 year olds so she was one of the youngest there but that didn't stop her from having fun:
So glad she had a fun week! Next up, cheering in the fall & she is ready!
