Weekend Wrap Up

Friday was a beautiful day & Sophie celebrated by going to her friend's birthday party:

Aren't they the cutest little fairies?! And don't forget the 2 gnomes in there :) They played outside on the swingset, jumped in the bounce house & went on a treasure hunt. Ellie's mom made the party so cute with all of the food & decorations:

When she went home, she changed for soccer but of course she still wanted to wear her fairy wings & carry her fairy wand to pick up Sadie from school. She looked too cute:

That afternoon they went to basketball & soccer practice with Bryan while I met some girlfriends for dinner:

These are some of my closest friends from college & even though we only see each other about once a year, I cherish the moments we get to spend together :)

And while I was enjoying Mexican food with the girls, Bryan surprised Sadie & Sophie and took them to the Frisco Fair:

Frisco has never had a fair before until this year so it was a pretty big deal. The girls have talked about riding the carousel every single time we drive by it. While they were there, Sophie ran into her friend Logan from school:

On Saturday morning we were up early for soccer & unfortunately it was not pretty like the day before. Sophie had an early game & thankfully her game got finished but we only made it to half time of Sadie's game & then the storm rolled through out of no where:

You can't really tell from this picture, but it was storming so hard, we were soaking wet by the time we got to the car. The wind was so strong my umbrella broke :( So we had some unexpected time at home which was quite relaxing. Sophie came home with the share bag from school so we had fun going through it together. And Sadie liked reading to her:

Sadie also came home with a special project from school & she spent hours coloring it & perfecting every detail:

At least she got to play a basketball game that afternoon. That's why I love indoor sports!

On Sunday, Sadie had a soccer game right after church so we made it to church but she went in her uniform:

It was a little muddy out there & cloudy, but at least she got her game in! Afterwards we went shopping for the great outdoors:

Cause you know our weather pattern - it is beautiful all week & then storms all weekend. It is a really weird weather pattern & unfortunately next weekend looks the same......
