Life Lately

A lot of random pictures to share from the past week starting with a sneak peak of Sophie's dance recital. I have seen her practice, we know the song & now we know what her costume looks like:

Can't believe this is the 8th time I have done this sale! I love clearing out the junk & making a little money at the same time:

Sophie was an awesome helper that day. Still speaking of Sophie, she has done an awesome job reading books for the last 2 months for school. They had a reading log & for every log she turned in, she got a balloon to release at school:

It's a fun tradition. They actually track them & announce at graduation whose balloon goes the farthest. 

The girls also had dentist appointments. Last time Sophie freaked out & wouldn't let them touch her but this time she rocked it:

We all surprised Sadie at school last Friday for Good Morning Pink because she won the Happy Camper Award:

She was pretty excited because she had no idea :) Sophie always loves going to GMP & this time was no different because she sat with Lucy & they had fun dancing to the Go Noodle videos:

Last weekend was crazy busy. Friday night the girls went to practice like normal while I snuck off to the church for a women's retreat. It was nice to take a break for me, but let's be honest, it was also nice to eat in peace without children interrupting. Especially when it came to dessert!

But Saturday we were back at it - soccer Saturday as I like to call it & it was MISERABLE out there. The temperature was in the upper 40's/low 50's so it wasn't that cold out there but there were 40 mph winds & they were cold:

Thankfully there wasn't any rain so we got both games in & then Sadie got to warm up at a birthday party that night for a friend on her team:

It was the first time she had been to a birthday party at Canyon's Rock Climbing & she loved it:

Then on Sunday, we did it all over again. Sadie had a double header with her academy team after church but at least the sun came out & the wind wasn't as strong. She was pretty excited because her BFF guest played with us:

This week has definitely slowed down & the weather is finally turning around. I only see warmer temperatures in the long range forecast so here's hoping winter has finally passed.
